Urban Soul is Green
In the interest of maintaining this beautiful creation we aim to be a green event.
What does this mean practically? All applications will be download-able PDFs, 70% of all projects will be within walking distance, public transportation will be taken for groups, there will be no excess of flyers or posters (we believe that good news spreads) and we will recycle anything that is recyclable during clean ups.
Child Protection Policy
It is the policy of the Urban Soul to safeguard the well being of young people at all times; ensuring their protection from physical, sexual and emotional harm and promoting the best practice amongst leaders to provide a safe environment for all. It is the duty of the youth leaders attending Urban Soul to adopt appropriate procedures as required in their own organisations.
Urban Soul has adopted the Safeguarding Trust policy (The Church of Ireland Code of Good Practice for Ministry with Children) to clarify our values and procedures and define our expectations of all staff and volunteers. This will serve to protect children and safeguard leaders working in positions of trust.
The Church of Ireland Safeguarding Trust policy can be viewed online here.
